We are thrilled to have a case of Domestic Assault dismissed against our client last week by the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office. Domestic Assault is a serious crime, but fabrications and exaggerations of assaults do happen. When they do, it is often the case that the complainant is merely trying to get their significant other away from them or out of the house, and then things spiral out of control. Alleged victims are often surprised that they cannot just get the charges dismissed.
In this case, we were able to get the District Attorney's Office to agree to dismiss the case, so that our Client could go on with his life and put this trauma behind him. Congrats!
