Sometimes we get cases before they are charged. If we can investigate and start an early dialogue with the prosecutors, sometimes this results in a non-prosecution of a crime. This happened just yesterday for a client, who was accused of Gross Sexual Assault out of Scarborough, Maine. After speaking with the detective and the prosecutor, they made the decision not to charge the case. This is a tremendous victory for our client, because he does not have to suffer being further stigmatized with such a horrible accusation. Congrats to our client!
